 


Since 1989 Meredith has been a leading lady in the West End originating,
playing and recording roles such as 'Eponine' in Les
Miserables, 'Betty Schaeffer' in Sunset Boulevard (Original cast), 'Christine' in
The Phantom of the Opera, 'Lily' in the RSC's The Secret Garden (Original Cast), 'Irina' in
Killing Rasputin, 'Camille' in Bernadette, 'Hideko' in
Out Of The Blue and 'Jude' in Cordelia a one woman play at the National Studio.
Meredith
played 'Belle' in the Disney film The
Muppet Christmas Carol
(performing
the song 'When Love Is Gone' on the film's original
soundtrack) directed by Brian Henson. Recent television
appearances include Doctors, Missing, New Tricks and Spooks.
In
2012 Meredith released her critically acclaimed debut solo
album Someone
Else's Story.
2017
marks a new chapter in Meredith Braun's performing career as
she releases the new album When
Love Is Gone,
a narrative based song cycle featuring specially selected
material and original songs.
